Bill Kennedy brings over three decades of exceptional leadership, nonprofit management, and public service to The Spectrum Hope Fund. A seasoned executive and community advocate, Bill has dedicated his career to fostering growth, development, and meaningful change in the Billings, Montana region.
Currently, Bill serves as the Director of the Family Tree Nurturing Center, where he oversees programs that strengthen families and promote resilience. Prior to this, he held the role of Senior Consultant at the YWCA in Billings from 2021 to 2023, focusing on strategic initiatives to enhance community services.
As CEO/President of the MSU Billings Foundation from 2016 to 2022, Bill spearheaded transformative campaigns that significantly advanced educational opportunities for students and strengthened the foundation’s community impact. His extensive tenure as a Yellowstone County Commissioner, spanning 23 years, further underscores his unwavering commitment to public service and his ability to lead with vision and integrity.
Bill’s broad experience in organizational leadership, combined with his passion for building inclusive communities, makes him a vital member of our board. His insights and expertise play a crucial role in advancing our mission to support families of children with autism.
