Sensory Friendly Events

AMC is proud to partner with the Autism Society to offer unique movie showings where we turn the lights up, and turn the sound down, so you can get up, dance, walk, shout or sing! Our Sensory Friendly Film program is available on the second and fourth Saturday (family-friendly) and Wednesday evenings (mature audiences) of every month.

We offer a dedicated time just for jumpers with special needs. Music is played at a lower volume and the park’s atmosphere is calmer. One parent or guardian can support jumpers on the trampoline for free. Siblings of jumpers are welcome to jump for the same price, but should be more careful during this time.

Wise Wonders has a Sensory Friendly Calming Cave designed for kids to take sensory breaks with lowered lighting and interactive play.

Build-A-Bear Workshop means fun for everyone! We’re proud to support children with autism and other special needs by providing sensory-friendly events at all Workshop locations. Sensory-Friendly time is designed to provide a less-stimulating Workshop experience that’s still fun-filled and unforgettable. Our Bear Builders are here to make sure each Guest goes through the Build-A-Bear experience in a way that’s comfortable for them.

Chuck E. Cheese is proud to support families who have children with autism and other special needs. Through our Sensory Sensitive Sundays program we’re able to offer families a quieter dining and entertainment environment, dimmed lighting and a sensory-friendly arcade experience. Our sensory-friendly events also include a trained and caring staff to ensure each guest has a safe, fun-filled visit.
